The idea

Most online platforms ask you to trade your identity for access. You need an account, a name, a profile, and in return, your activity is tracked, monitored, and tied back to you. For many people, that trade makes honest conversation impossible. Sensitive topics go unspoken, difficult questions go unasked, and the conversations that matter most end up happening nowhere at all.

What we're building

Open Place is a web platform where anyone can create or join a Place, a public or private space for open discussion, without revealing their identity or any personal information. No accounts tied to your name, no tracking, no surveillance. Topics can be sensitive or lighthearted, personal or communal. The platform is built around one principle: everyone deserves a space to talk, connect, and be heard.
